Memo # 1 - Buy things out of season.

Last week, hubby and I purchased knick knacks and bric-a-bracs to fill up some loot bags.  To my surprise, Landmark was giving 10% off their entire stationery section.  Oh yeah, it’s summer vacation.  School had just finished and the store still needs to keep their inventory moving. 

Hence, this year I’ll be shopping for school supplies in April, when prices are at their lowest.  Yes, it’s early, but this way, more than just saving 10%, I’ll be buying before the annual June (School Rush) inflation hits.  It’s like paying 2011 prices for SY (School Year) 2012.
